Hawaii Medicaid: New guidelines for early childhood mental health providers
The State of Hawaii Department of Human Services recently issued a memo announcing new care and billing guidelines for QUEST Integration (QI) Health Plans and providers working with young children’s mental health.
These new guidelines outline best practices for using the DC:0-5™ diagnostic tool, provide a crosswalk to existing billing codes and give you access to free training resources.
We encourage you to adopt these billing codes and review the DC:0-5 resources.
