2024 opportunities unauthorized at year end

Please review how UnitedHealthcare Hearing has handled your opportunities from 2024 that were not authorized.

• Opportunities containing recommended products with a signed quote, have been canceled. A new opportunity has been created or is in the process of being created using any applicable 2025 benefits the patient may have.
• Opportunities in a Referred/Recommendation Pending status had the 2024 benefits replaced by applicable 2025 benefits. Patients who have had their benefits end will show a Not Eligible status.

Please review the patient account by selecting the patient tab and search using their first name, last name and date of birth, or the patient’s account number. 

Referral requests should only be submitted if you can’t locate a workable opportunity on the patient’s account or have never received a referral.
