To best support your recommended care plan and reduce barriers to care, we’ve expanded benefits for UnitedHealthcare Community Plan members in Florida. These expanded benefits are designed to not only support our members but also give you resources to enhance your recommended care and treatment plans.
Member benefits
A few of the many expanded benefits include:
- Monthly $65 benefit for over-the-counter medications and medical supplies
- Unlimited covered primary care provider (PCP) visits
- Physical therapy and occupational therapy: One covered evaluation/re-evaluation per year and up to 7 covered therapy treatments per week
- Automatic blood pressure monitors covered
- Condition-specific medical equipment and financial support for children and adolescents with serious mental illness or substance use disorder
- Enhanced maternal health benefits such as a doula program, diaper starter pack, virtual support group throughout pregnancy, Healthy First Steps® rewards, chiropractic services
- Pathways to Prosperity program, which offers housing assistance, food assistance, non-medical transportation and more
What this means for you
These new changes will help you strengthen patient relationships and improve your care plans. In addition, you’ll be eligible for several incentive opportunities, including:
- UnitedHealthcare Community Plan Primary Care Professional Incentive (CP-PCPi) program: This program rewards qualifying physician practices for performances tied to providing patient care opportunities that address HEDIS® measures
- Practice Assist: You’ll have access to this workflow management tool that tracks care opportunities, decreases administrative burdens and supports compliant record submission for gap closure. This tool also helps providers increase clinical agility, improve HEDIS performance, reduce liquidated damages and submit compliant records that otherwise would not be captured.
- Training: You can access free UnitedHealthcare medical and behavioral provider training and on-demand education through Optum Health Education
