Make a difference in a child’s life

As the holiday season approaches, the UnitedHealthcare Children's Foundation (UHCCF) is excited to announce the availability of grants for families with children who have medical needs. Health care professionals like you have a huge impact on UHCCF’s mission to provide life-changing medical grants to children and their families.

In fact, about 35% of grant recipient families say they learned about UHCCF medical grants from their provider — proof that some heroes wear lab coats.

The UHCCF grants offer a wonderful opportunity for families to receive support for medical treatments, therapies and equipment that are not fully covered by insurance. By easing the financial burden, these grants allow families to focus on what truly matters — the health and well-being of their children.

Let your patients know about UHCCF grants

Please encourage families of your patients to apply for these grants and take advantage of the assistance available. The application process is straightforward, and our team is here to help every step of the way. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of children and their families.

UHCCF grant eligibility guidelines

  • Patients must be age 0-16 at time of application
  • Patients are not required to have health insurance through UnitedHealthcare
  • Patients must have primary coverage through a commercial health plan
  • Health care professionals may not apply for their patients
