Washington Medicaid: Epic helps make SDOH screenings easier

When you complete Social Drivers of Health (SDOH) screenings using the Epic workflow, the SDOH information is securely shared with UnitedHealthcare. This helps us better support our members by addressing their specific social needs.

Additionally, the Epic Payer Platform allows us to share UnitedHealthcare social needs screenings with health care professionals who use Epic’s Health Plan Clinical Summary.

Where to find it

Our member’s social needs screening is in your Epic workflow on the SDOH wheel. You can view the screenings when you hover over the umbrella icon, in the Storyboard, Print Groups and SmartLinks.
