Training and education

Providers must submit a list of covered services they do not offer due to ethical or religious beliefs. At initial submission to MCOs, provider applications must identify the services the agency intends to provide. During recredentialing, agencies must reassess their service offerings and update them as needed to ensure all services listed are accurate and current.

Requirements include:

• Submission before the start date of the provider agreement
• Ongoing updates at least 60 days before discontinuing any covered service

• UnitedHealthcare attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) toolkit
